《锻压技术》1958年创刊，由中国机械工业联合会主管，北京机电研究所有限公司和中国机械工程学会塑性工程分会主办。被中文核心期刊要目总览（北京大学）、中国科学引文数据库（核心版，CSCD）、中国学术期刊文摘数据库（核心板，CSAD-C）、RCCSE中国核心学术期刊、美国剑桥科学文摘（CSA）、美国化学文摘（CA）等国内外重要检索系统收录。主要报道金属塑性成形的新理论、新工艺、新设备，模具、加热、摩擦与润滑、测试、标准等的科研成果。

《锻压技术》连续多年入选《中文核心期刊要目总览》；据中国科学技术信息研究所报告，《锻压技术》影响因子为0.777(核心版，排名居我国机械工程类期刊第3位)。《锻压技术》是一本影响面广泛，具有权威性的专业技术刊物。

《FORGING AND STAMPING TECHNOLOGY》(JFST)

Brief Introduction

JFST was started publication in 1958 by the Society for Technology of Plasticity, CMES and Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology. It is one of the Chinese core magazines and now is published bimonthly, but from 2014, it will be published every month. It is very famous in the field of metal plasticity technology. Its readers include engineers, teachers, researchers, enterprise technicians , etc.

JFST covers papers of new theory, new technology, new equipment, design and manufacture technology of forming tools, technology of heating and energy-saving, technology of friction and lubrication, technology of vibration isolation and absorption, measuring technology, application of computers, standard for forging and stamping, and reviews and special topic about the field of metal plasticity technology.

In addition, JFST includes the experience of manufacture, experiment research, technique renovating and actions.
